ABOUT US
HelpForMommy.com was born in 2005 out of our own need to find help because our babysitter suddenly quit on us. We needed to find someone within a week, so we placed an ad in our local newspaper. The cost of the ad was $130! To our surprise, we received over forty-five responses to our need of a part time, two day a week babysitter. We were also surprised to find that most responses were from quality people close to our home. Knowing that we could only hire one person, we felt the need to let other families know about the great helpers in the area. With the permission of the helpers, we started a list. We soon realized that families indeed wanted to know about the help in their area; this was the beginning of HelpForMommy.com.
MISSION
To become the premiere portal used by families to find the help that they need within their home town. Helpformommy.com seeks to stay aware of family trends and to adjust our service to fit those trends.
COMMUNITY MISSION
Helpformommy.com recognizes that user involvement is vital to our website community as well as the local comunity. If you observe any questionable profiles (i.e. swear words, inappropriate photos and/or videos); or any unpleasant experience with a Mother's Helper or Family; you should make it your duty to contact us. Your participation will result in more credible and meaningful relationships within the Helpformommy.com community. Helpformommy.com will also donate time and money to charities in our local Central Coast community.
ECONOMIC MISSION
The economic mission of Helpformommy.com is twofold:
- Assist families in their efforts to maintain and/or improve thier lifestyle by providing immediate contact with Mother's Helpers in their local area.
- Allow Mother's Helpers to place their skills in over twelve categories of jobs, dually creating jobs and increasing the number of available jobs in the marketplace.
