What is a Mother’s Helper?
A Mother’s Helper is a person with high integrity and moral values willing and able to provide a service for a family at the family’s home. In addition to the traditional babysitters and nannies, Mother’s Helpers include caregivers, personal chefs, tutors, personal trainers, housekeepers, lawn service, “You Name It!!” Helpformommy.com allows you to be creative in this area.
How do I use this website?
Families
Select the Mother’s Helpers link to view people willing to work in your area. If you wish to contact helpers, select “Post a Job” link. From there you will be directed to post your job needs. This process creates your “Family” profile. Your profile registration allows you to place your photo and a short video and/or audio message (10 mb each). Once you submit your registration, you will have immediate access to contact information on Mother's Helpers listed in your city. Just login using your newly created username and password, then select "Helper List".
If you don't see any Mother's Helpers listed in your area, or you're not quite ready to post a job, thats ok. Just go to the Family Needs Ad link. This area allows you to fill out a simple form that allows you to talk about your job needs in lieu of posting a job.
Please ensure that your video/audio message does not contain personal contact information. This is for your safety and for the integrity of Helpformommy.com. If you choose not to adhere to this rule, your profile may be immediately removed from the website.
Mother’s Helpers
Advertise your services for free by selecting the “Become a Helper” link, and filling out the profile form. You must be at least 18 years of age. Your profile registration allows you to place your photo and a short video and/or audio message (10 mb each). Once submitted, your profile will be available for viewing on the website. Your contact information can only be viewed by registered families. You will also have the ability to contact families using the blog feature. Just go to the applicable blog, input your username and password, and fill out the blog.

Our Page/ My Page
Every registered user will be given the opportunity to provide further information about themselves by using a tool called Our Page for families and My Page for helpers. You can place resumes, references, additional photographs, etc (anything else you may want to say about yourself); be creative!! To access this page; after submitting your registration, select the Login link and insert your user name and password. You will then have access to your personal pages: “Our Page” for families and “My Page” for Mother’s Helpers. Insert your user name and password again and you will be ready to manage your personal web page.

Registered users may utilize this area to communicate with each other. It is important that you check your blog daily to find interested parties for your job or service offer. We encourage you to use the blog to establish communication. Please use caution when posting private information, as other registered users will be able to view your blog. Once communication is established, you may use other agreed upon means of communication.
Advertise
If you are a business or service interested in advertising your business on a regular basis, you may post your business/service ad in this section. Your advertisement will display under Local Services. You will be charged on a continual month-to-month basis. If you want to change or remove your advertisement from this area, please contact us.
Do you perform background checks?
Helpformommy.com provides the ability for any user to purchase background checks, providing authorization has been obtained from the investigated party. We also provide tools that allow you to prescreen registered users in the form of profiles that contain questions, photos, videos, and voice recording.

What if I need to Cancel?

Background Check: Once the investigation process has started, we will not be able to issue a refund.
Advertise: This area is charged on a month-to-month basis. If you wish to cancel for the next month, contact us within the last10 days of the current month. If you cancell after the 10 day grace period, you may be charged for the next month, but will incur no charges for the months thereafter.
Are you an employment agency?
No, we are simply a conduit that provides families with knowledge of the type of help that is available in their area. We also provide mother’s helpers with a place to advertise their skills to assist in their efforts to find a job in their area of interest. We do not endorse any mother’s helper or family. When customers agree to the terms of service, all communication is solely between the mother’s helper and the family.
What is the going rate of pay for Mother’s Helper?
The going rate depends on the service being provided, years of experience, job responsibility, and the local economy. Generally, more responsibility equals more pay. For example, a Mother’s Helper in New York City, New York may be paid a higher rate than a helper in Witchita, Kansas (Local Economy). A Mother’s Helper with 10 years of full time experience can expect a higher rate than a weekend helper with little experience.
